Black Dog Metal Fabrication was founded by Charles McLaughlin in October 2021.

Born with a passion and talent for art, Charles began painting and exploring the art world at a young age. He earned his degree in fine arts which led him to mixed media inspiration. That is where the desire to create steel pieces and sculptures began. 

Since 2010, he worked as the primary metal fabricator for a high-end custom architectural steel fabrication company specializing in furniture and structural decor. 

Charles and Black Dog Metals work is featured all over the tristate area. With pieces throughout NYC in many well-known hotels, restaurants, & bars.
